Join Our Christian Prayer Group For People Affected By Leukemia

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well. James 5:15

I have created a christian prayer group because I believe in the power of prayer and God's healing.

One of my favorite sayings is this...Faith is not believing that God can, it is knowing that He will.

I have learned a lot about the power of our thoughts. There is much power in our thoughts and beliefs. The Bible supports this in Matthew 21:22 where Jesus says, "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Wow, that is powerful! And again Jesus says in Mark 9:23, "Everything is possible for him who believes."

Prayer has meant a lot to us and is the strength that we need as we continue our journey with Kaden's leukemia. I want to share with you a personal experience that I had the day before Kaden's diagnosis. After days of not knowing what was wrong with Kaden and hearing from his doctor that they suspected leukemia I was an emotional mess. Our pastor came to visit and offered to anoint and pray for both Kaden and myself. After anointing and praying for me I experienced a peace that I never thought possible. I knew in my heart that even if he did have leukemia that everything would be okay.

Imagine that.....a parent facing the diagnosis of their child having cancer and being at total peace.

And the next day Kaden was diagnosed with leukemia and I still had peace knowing that everything would be okay.

That is peace that passes all understanding! And it came from being anointed and prayer.
